Our results
The competition team
I am Iván Nagy, leader of the SunCity BBQ team. I have been into BBQ for 5 years and started competing in 2017.
I am a certified Pitmaster and Judge of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), the wordl's biggest BBQ organisation.
We proved ourselves at KCBS organized competitions at home and abroad and we won the best Hungarian competition team award in 2018 & 2019.
We competed with Péter Tamási and my wife, Margit Kurunczi, in 2019.
That year we started to use our self-developed rubs in the competitions and reached 4th place on the
KCBS Team of the Year European list.
Our goal is to introduce quality BBQ as a cooking technique as widely as possible in Hungary
and to represent Hungary at the highest possible level at international competitions.
